DiscoverDocs is a web-based tool that helps individuals and businesses respond to legal discovery requests. The service connects to your email and cloud storage accounts via OAuth, uses artificial intelligence to identify potentially relevant documents, and provides tools to review, organize, and export those documents for your attorney.
DiscoverDocs is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The AI-generated summaries, relevance scores, and request interpretations are informational aids only and should not be relied upon as legal counsel. Always consult a licensed attorney for legal decisions.
DiscoverDocs accesses your connected accounts using read-only OAuth scopes. Document content is processed transiently by our AI provider (Anthropic) for relevance analysis and is not stored on our servers. Only metadata (file names, dates, senders, AI-generated summaries, and relevance scores) is persisted in our database.
OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. You may disconnect your accounts and delete your data at any time from the Settings page.
For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please see our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL DISCOVERDOCS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LEGAL SANCTIONS, OR ADVERSE LEGAL OUTCOMES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
DiscoverDocs does not guarantee that AI-powered search results are complete or accurate. You are responsible for conducting a thorough review of all discovery materials independent of this tool.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data (cases, discovery requests, document metadata, connected accounts, and subscription information) will be permanently removed from our systems.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a security risk to the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the service. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you have questions about these terms, please contact us at legal@discoverdocs.app.
